The Deputy Prime Minister was asked in Parliament yesterday about an alleged break-in to the Department around six months ago.
To the best of the Department's knowledge and records, there was no such break-in. However, a laptop computer was stolen from a Departmental officer's home in February of this year. In line with Departmental policies, no classified or sensitive information was held on the computer.
