Key Facts for New Drivers
Summary
The kit 'Key Facts for New Drivers' contains fact sheets developed by the department and the Australian Driver Trainers Association to help inform learner drivers about factors that increase the risk of crashes, and encourages cooperative partnerships between trainers, learner drivers and their parents and family.
Ask your driver trainer for the fact sheets, and get the real story on:
- how speeding affects your crash risk
- fatigue who is really at risk?
- how much do you need to practise?
- how to drive for the conditions, plus
- advice for those who supervise a learner driver.
