Guidelines for the Preparation of Transport Emergency Response Plans

In August 2003 the Australian Transport Council approved guidelines for the preparation of Transport Emergency Response Plans. It is envisaged that these guidelines will assist transport operators to meet their obligations under dangerous goods legislation to have an emergency plan for dealing with any dangerous situation arising from the transport of dangerous goods.

The Guidelines for the Preparation of a Transport Emergency Response Plan are available for downloading. They are also available from www.ntc.gov.au.
